Hair extensions can be attached in various ways: with clips in your own hair, with the elastic thread (micropoint) to your own hair or with medical tape/glue to the scalp. The method you choose depends on your lifestyle. We think along with you in this.
Do you want to wear your hair extension 24/7? So also at night and in the shower? Or do you actively exercise? Or do you want to be able to put it on and take it off easily and keep control yourself? We will go through all the pros and cons with you, so that you can make the right choice. Whatever choice you make: thanks to our attachment methods, you never have to feel insecure again.
What mounting methods are there?
A hairpiece from MoveHs Hairsolutions can be attached in several ways. This has the advantage that you can change systems. For each type of attachment, the hair extension is attached safely and invisibly, with little or no damage to your own hair. The three attachment systems and their characteristics at a glance:

Micropoint attachment
This method of attachment was introduced by ourselves. Extremely suitable for (semi-)custom hairpieces and toppers.
Using an elastic thread, the hair extension is incorporated into your own hair. The prerequisite for this attachment method is that the knot quality of the processed European hair in the hair extension is excellent, and that you still have sufficient natural hair around the place where the crown extension is applied. This method is popular with active women, because you can practice all kinds of sports without fear and can sleep with it. Others deliberately choose a micropoint attachment temporarily, for example because they are going on a trip and share a room (and therefore want to keep their hair extension on) or because they are on a skiing holiday and have to wear a helmet. Our customers include top athletes who train, shower or swim with the crown extension every day. Boxing, football, motorcycling, skiing or deep-sea diving? Really, it is possible with the micropoint attachment!
With micropoint you can simply wash the hairpiece in the shower, we teach you how to wash and comb it. Every 4 to 5 weeks you come back to the salon to have your scalp and the hairpiece cleaned and reapplied. The micropoint method is safe for your own hair and is painless (unlike outdated techniques with rings or tubes). If there is still hair growing under the extension, it does not have to be removed. If you want, you can choose to switch to clips in the winter, for example: that will save you a few maintenance visits to the salon.
Confirmation with clips
If you choose clips, you can easily put on and take off your hair extension yourself. You don't have to go back to the salon regularly for maintenance. It saves costs and you are in control. This method is suitable for women who still have enough of their own hair to attach the clips to.
Medicinal glue or tape
The topper or hairpiece is glued to your scalp with medical glue, silicone glue or bonding or tape. Choose the glue or tape attachment if your own hair is too thin or too brittle for micropoints or clips. The tape is available in different types and strengths, you can change it yourself at home. If you choose the glue attachment, you will come to the salon every 4-5 weeks for maintenance. Your scalp and the extension/hairpiece will be cleaned and reattached. In the meantime, you wash your hair and topper at home with silicone-free shampoo. As with the micropoints, the following applies to the glue attachment: you can simply wash your hair in the shower, we will teach you how to wash and comb it safely.
During the intake, we will work with you to find the attachment method that suits you and your hair extension. If the attachment method you choose does not suit you as well as you had hoped, it is possible to choose a different method afterwards. Please note that if your hair solution is not yet suitable for this, we may have to make a small adjustment to your piece. For example, sewing in clips or subsequently applying a PU or silicone edge to stick/glue. For more information or if you have any questions, you can always contact us.
